Robert grew up on Topsail Island off the coast of North Carolina. He attended ECU and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a MSA in Accounting in 2001. He was a member of the Golden Key National Society, Beta Gamma SIgma, Phi Kappa Phi and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Once he graduated, he relocated to Washington and joined the firm. He was licensed as a CPA in February of 2007 and became a Partner in January of 2013. He currently resides in Washington with his son, Jackson.
